We share the same kitchen decorating philosophy.... I have a cabinet full of pink dishes and stuff but not a pink kitchen! But I do dream about the pink Kitchen Aid Mixer...my husband is like whay not buy white so it will match, and I literally said "It won't match ME!"

Anyway, thanks for being so inspiring all the time. I love, love, love all you do. You're the bee's knee's, my friend!

What a lot of news to catch up :D
Blackie is very cute, my dog tries to sleep at my feet and every night he jumps up on the bed, but if I move my feet even a tiny bit, he gets grumpy and jumps off and sleeps under the bed. Then he strangely appears curled up at my feet every morning!
Love love love the pink dishes, wish I could justify changing all mine, but there's nothing wrong with it (apart from the fact that it's not pink of course)! LOL

Can't wait to take classes from you in Edmonton...I'm so excited! Love the 'She' box as well since I'll be in your track for the Chicago CKU! You are always so inspiring.

I think pink dishes are just fab! Oh, and I just bought crocs, too, finally going for it after Donna D put it on her blog! I will buy pink ones for the She track at Chicago CKU though...what else will do?

About the name Blackie---when I was in college in the early '70's, I took a greek classics class and the prof was telling us about the Linnear E alphabet. Only a bit of it had been translated at that time, but the bit that had been was a farmer's inventory of his cows.....two names: Blackie and Buttercup!!! And this is some 1000 years before Christ.....I was charmed--how lovely, some things con't change!!

I LOVE that you bought your pink plates because they match YOU! and not your kitchen!!!That is some inspiring stuff! Seriously impressive!!!

GorGEOus! I have added pink to my kitchen too - using accessories (Gary isn't too thrilled about it .... but hey, he'll get over it) i love entertaining - pink and brown will be very stunning on the table!

Edmonton is fantastic, even in the winter. You'll have a blast!

Seen those same plates the other night and I wanted to get them. Dh said, "Nope, they don't match and you have to have everything matching, remember?" Ugh, why does he have to be such a smarty pants.

I love Q in the pink crocs. I love mine and intend on adding to my collection. I can't wait until my dd is old enough to get her crocs!

I love those dishes! So adorable. Try Ballard Designs for your placemats. They have adorable quilted ones here:

Good luck!

hey if you needthose plates, my target has tons!! I can get them for you if you'd like.

My dog is so afraid of the camera. I can never get any good pictures of her, which is a shame because she does very cute things.

My husband laughed at me the other day because I bought a pink plate at Wal-mart, just because I wanted a pink plate.

Love the She box!!!! And the pink dishes are way cute!!! One of my mom & dads wedding gifts were pink plates like those (only pinker) and I have them now.....50's style! Love them!

Arg! I love those plates!!!!
Look at your cutie girl, hamming it up in her crocs. So funny!!

i love KOCO art! that woman does the coolest stuff. quincy is too cute in her little crocs, i am dying to get a pair for ivy too - she was looking over my shoulder just now and said 'hey! i want some shoes like that!', i'm telling you it's the PINK!

Is Blackie a Cocker Spaniel??? If so, how old?

You may want to get his foot/leg checked out. My mom has a Cocker (our family dog since I was little - his name is Buffett) and he blew out his knee. The vet said its very common in Cockers. What you're describing sounds like the early symptoms of how Buffers was. :(

I love Quincy's new crocs. I have ordered a pair for myself as well. They are so comfortable. Of course i got the pink as well. LOL. Your little Doggie looks a little sad!!!!! Poor baby i hope he is ok....

Love the pink plates!!!! That box is to die for!!! Wasn't aware that you were coming to Edmonton....I going to miss you ...here in Edmonton! Darn it! Where you going to in Edmonton? Have fun!!!

Seems to me that Quincy LOVES here crocs! Sydnie got hot pink AND lime green crocs for Christmas! Now, everytime we go out, Hayley (15-months) has to grab whatever pair Sydnie is NOT wearing. Needless to say, even the child size crocs are still too big for Hayley!

Love the new dishes! Though, my husband would freak if I bought pink dishes. He has to draw the line somewhere! Ha!

Quincy is adorable!! Hugs Wanda

Awww poor blackie...him and my kitten Max should get together and limp around. Poor little guy hurt his leg and we have no idea how.

How cute is your little girl in those crocs! I love how little girls just love to strut their stuff.

Well girl you sure picked a yucky weekend to be in Edmonton. This is like the only crazy cold we've seen all winter. I am so jealous my best friend Haley is taking your class tomorrow and i so wish i was there. don't suppose your gonna be at cku-provo are you???

That's is what I love about you; you are all about the pink!

I want to get some crocs but I have to go to Edmonton for them. Have to wait I guess, bummer! Quincy looks fab all dressed in pink and looking like life is all about here. You go girl!!

We just said goodbye to our dog 2 weeks ago. This weekend we are trialing a new dog but my oldest son isn't liking it too much. He wants the dog to go back. bummer

Edmonton is coming out of the deep freeze so hopefully you will be okay. You could always go to The Bay and buy some cool 2010 Olympic outerwear. Of course it does say CANADA on it. Hey and there is always Roots! (I have my CKU Vancouver picture CD with you trying on Roots hats).

Thai! MY FAV!!!

I have to say what a darling little dog! (Quincy's cute too, of course). But we have a little black cocker spaniel named Daisy and love her so much. We have a blond cocker also...so many great photos of him, but our little black Daisy is so hard to photograph. Know exactly what you mean there.

stupid question but why are you going to Edmonton? i cant find the reason in your blog... I've moving there from the UK in 3 months time and would be so thrilled if you go to edmonton on a regular basis for scrap based stuff :) and it would make all my uk friends very very jealous...
