"precious time"

i scanned in the layout that i did last night... so i thought i'd post it.
it's the only scrapbooking thing i have done since capri was born.. i did make a few thank you cards.
so that was fun. i totally feel like scrapbooking, but i am too tired to stand there and work!
guess who came and photographed my kids today! Allison Tyler Jones... i am SO excited. it was so much fun to watch her in action... HER WEBSITE ... she is amazing. i can't wait to see what she came up with.
i usually feel pretty good about the photos i take of my kids... i mean, i am no allison or tara whitney, but i am usually happy with them! but i am burnt out.. i need to be re-energized. as i was watching her connect with my kids.. and form a little relationship with them... i loved seeing them respond to her as she was shooting them. and capri... what a super star... she had been asleep the entire day, and she woke up hungry about 15 minutes before allison got to my house. (imagine that.. she came to ME! that is her thing... she comes and shoots in your home) then capri was totally awake and happy for the entire shoot. the kids were bickering b/c they didn't want to sit by each other etc... and capri was totally calm and happy to be passed around and photographed. dang.. did i get the right baby or what? she is fabulous. i hope she doesn't grow out of her outstanding disposition.  what a wonderful gift she is to our family.

Oh my goodness....your layout is soooo pretty! How long did that take you to create? I have a 16 month old toddler and a new baby girl coming in December. Hopefully, I can create beautiful layouts like yours.
