I am so excited.. I just got an email from stacy julian telling me that my class is UP and ready for registration on Big Picture Scrapbooking! I am just sitting here, working on part of the “welcome package” that students will receive the end of January… I am creating a bunch of cool exclusive product for this class… I saw a bit of it today even… prototypes. It’s a thrill… I have been working on the monthly pages, challenges and ideas, and it just makes me happy. Gives me so much to think about. If you go to bigpicturescrapbooking.com, you can read the rather-long class description and you can also download an 11minute thing that I recorded to try to explain what the ‘year to remember class’ will be about. I am excited that it’s up finally…we have been working very hard to get all the ‘logistics’ worked out. students will receive 4 different packages throughout the year, with different products and surprises… originally we weren’t going to limit the number of participants that we were allowing… but since we are providing ‘kits’ and we will be sending stuff out, we had to pick a number- so there is a cap.
Other than that… lots going on around here… parent teacher conferences this week… it was fun to talk to the teachers about the kids. My kids LOVE school…and I am SO glad!
My running shoes are awesome and making a BIG difference in my training! I am running in the mornings, and doing a short afternoon/evening walk with the kids riding their bikes, and giving Capri stroller rides. The temps in AZ this time of year are devine.
It’s Colton’s 9th b-day this weekend, and to celebrate we are taking a bunch of kids to the drive-in to see ‘open season’…it’s the 2nd annual drive-in birthday party! So much fun. I love going to the drive-in. I totally remember doing that when I was little. We would get dressed in our pajamas and take sleeping bags and pillows, and my dad let us watch the movie on the roof of the station wagon. You pay by the car-load and you can bring in outside food. It’s perfect. colton is excited. Capri is totally ‘cooing’. It’s the sweetest thing to listen to, to have little conversations with her. She is growing too fast. And I am NOT taking enough photos. You’d think I would be better at that. Ok, it’s 11:15 and I have to get up EARLY if I want to get a run in. I had a short this morning, so tomorrow I am bumping up my mileage just a bit. I am trying to remind myself that muscle weighs more than fat as I am not seeing any results on the scales. (not feeling results in the clothing department either)… this month has flown by. I need to go pick out a Halloween costume tomorrow. I want to be something SCARY! Also, tomorrow- we have our first official ‘creative escape 2007’ meeting with the ‘executive committee’ over at Bazzill. (already!?) already we have so many ways that we are going to improve for next year, starting to detail the class categories and starting to get the teacher line up in place. –all top secret for now!
Ok- seriously, good night.

heidi I listened to your audio this morning after I signed up for your class and it took my breath away...I just sat there listening and was able to relate to you sitting on your bed listening to the sound of your families laughter and think...this class is going to be amazing..the journey you are going to take us on. Listening to you pour your heart out on your audio regarding taking the time to enjoy life and your family just makes me want to a better mother. So heidi thank you for inspiring me!!

I was so excited to hear about your class!! I just wish I could take it, $300 is just to steap for me to do all at once. Is there any chance there could be a pay by quarter option?

I'm super excited for this class. Something about it spoke to me enough to sign up. I listened to your audio file, slept on it and signed up today. A present from my hubby for Christmas. So excited.

hey heidi your class sounds wonderful! i'm really thinking of taking it! you are an awesome inspiration! and i just had to put in a quick note about your running and the weather here in az. you said, "The temps in AZ this time of year are devine." as soon as i read that i was laughing! it's so true, but what i was laughing about is the spelling of devine. it made me think of a certain LSS! several of us have gotten a kick out of that (insert smiley)

Signed up and cannot wait for a year to remember, although truth be told - CE made this a year to remember! Trying hard to find a way to get back for 2007! Thank you Heidi for teaching on BPS - it is so wonderful for internationals!!! Hugs from Perth, Aust. Narelle PS - Hi class buddies - can't wait to chat to you all!!!

If you really want to be something scary, how about non-acid-free paper, or rubber cement? (of course, you could only go to sb'ers houses, otherwise people will look at you kind of funny....)

I am so excited to be taking your BPS class! I've waited days for this...Oh and CE 2007 - can't wait for that either...

I am so dissapointed as I've been anxiously awaiting your class. It is just too expensive for an online class. I understand that we will receive product in the mail, but still just too steep for me. If you offered it on a quarterly basis, I would be able to take it. I'm sure there are others who feel the same way. Hope you will consider this option.

i just signed up and i am really excited. i remember while i was in hs and college, i use to mark up a calendar. i would wirte in each box with all the stuff i thought was important to remember. looking back and reading some of those, they weren't that important. i read them with my son and he just laughs. so this class will bring back some memories as well as new creativity. can't wait. happy brithday to colton. a drive in party. should be lots of fun.
