I presant lifted your idea for the kids teachers, thank you. You must be busy getting ready for your creative escape, i know I am working my butt off saving for it for next year (hopefully you do it again),
I live in Massachusetts so I have to save for airfare, hotel and if I make it a family thing them too. Time to bring my son to the doctors STREP, ahhhhhhhhh can't get rid of it !!! bye

Cute pictures! Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! It's so nice to spend a day like that with your family! And you deserve a break once in awhile....I'm sure it is needed especially being pregnant! :)

Melissa

Sounds like a fabulous day! I just wanted to say that my boys are 11 months apart like your two little ones will be. I can completely understand what you are saying about those "you are THAT pregnant, and have a baby THAT little?" looks you get! People are too funny...

gillian

How cute is that baby's swimsuit?!?!!!! Darling!

Looks like a fun thing to do in such
hot weather.. You are a brave woman and you
are to be commended... I have enjoyed all
the new things that you have created and I
love your style. I also love the doors that
your husband created. So classy!! I need
a new house to have nice doors like that...
Love the headband idea too... I agree about
the hair thing... I have 4 daughters and I kid
to them about when they were little they lived in bathing suits, had green hair from too much chlorine and they only wore flip-
flops... I NEEDED A BREAK... Good luck on
your new baby and I know you will be fine.
I had 6 children in 11 years.. It has been
crazy fun!!

Awww, what a fun day you and your family had! I love your pictures! You always capture the essence of the moment!

And I love your idea for the teachers too. I think I may have to borrow it for my girls' teachers. :)

Brought back memories of my first trip to Big Surf in like 1980! OMG I'm old, I need to take DS there this summer since we've cancelled our San Deigo Trip!

Kim Griffin

an essential family fun day heidi...glad you had such a special time all together! and don't call it 'mommy guilt'...life has many demands, especially in any family that has 2 working parents. in a larger family with more children to love, this becomes an emotional challenge to make sure that everyone is happy ( husbands, children and bosses ) and also to make sure deadlines are met in your hectic world! ...i'm sure that eric has his days of 'daddy guilt' too when things get a little chaotic.
enjoy the many blessings you have in your life heidi!!!
...and good luck with your 'to do' list today! :o)

Kathryn Johnson

You have such beautiful kids!

Can you believe I've lived in Phoenix my whole life and have yet to go to Big Surf?! We were all about Golfland/Sunsplash in Mesa!

Karalynn Tyler

I've been getting that "you've got a baby that little and you're pregnant again?" look lately too. I agree that it feels a little silly, but I'm happy just the same.

Sounds like a fun day!
