We finally gave into the kids begging and pleading today, and went as a family to “big surf”… it’s a water park here in town that has holds fond memories for eric as he was growing up as well! the kids has been giving me the non-stop pressure, and I wasn’t going to take them by myself… only that joy(and burden) of going to the water park must be shared by both spouses!! Especially when one is as pregnant as this one is! we really did have a great time. the crowd was pretty manageable… although scoring lounge chairs and shade is NOT an easy task! There are like a million water slides there… but all my kids wanted to do was play in the wave pool. Man, it’s a serious wave that thing puts out. the kids had a BLAST… Capri and I just tip toed along the shore line, and everytime the wave would come she would lift up her feet to try to jump over it .. when we first got there, I figured I could just sit and let the waves come up on me… and I would just hold Capri up… holy cow, it totally knocked me over, and in trying to save capri, I totally got my back, elbows and knees scraped up so bad! plus I felt so dumb- the pregnant thing didn’t help. And I am sure I was getting a lot of the looks like… you are THAT pregnant, and have a baby THAT little? Pretty funny really… anyway… good summer time fuN! And eric was there… so everyone got ample sunblock! (he is the sunblock police), so no sunburns! 
Today, i am holed up in my office. I have a prioritized and specific to-do list… and I have until 5pm. We’ll see how productive I can be! at least the big surf day helped a little with the mommy-guilt! I should be able to rock and roll…. now that the blogging is off the list… (check!)
