How inspiring you are Emily, this morning as I am getting up for breakfast I was about to grab my usual...but then your "after" picture came into my mind...so I reached for the low fat cereal and skim milk instead.....bet you didn't think you would be inspiring people from the other side of the world....but you have!


Congrats to em !!!As long as you are the 2 h's healthy and happy,you look great either way. My DH did that diet also and had amazing results like 60 lbs in 4 months, its all about the measuring and portions.

So I was so excited to see the details of CLUB HEIDI, how cool is that, I do already own the book and it is full of so many excellent ideas and inspiration.LOve it.
I just did a layout using the fire mask, I am going to post it on my blog,but not until after the contest is over, that I entered it into. I also used ghost letters and some stamp edged words. It totally rocks, if I can say so myself.
I can't wait to order the kit for july, I feel like I am going to be waiting in line to the toy store the day after x-mas,just to get one . Yipeeeeeeeeeeee.

Emily you look wonderful ! I was on the scrapbook cruise last year with you and I also am struggling with weight problems . You are an inspiration to me I am going to check out a local program that helped me loose weight 10 years ago. I want to lose 50 pounds before i turn 50 next April !!
PS Heidi can't wait for the "CLUB" stuff. Good luck with the upcoming birth.

Hi Heidi (and Em)

I totally understand how this dietary change works. I underwent something similar (but not as hard core) earlier this year, and as of today, 6 months down the track, I have lost and kept off 45 lbs (20 kg). I had tried WW and other diets, and all would be good for a few months. Then, no matter what I did (increase exercise, decrease food intake, increase intensity of exercise etc) I would start putting weight on again. It was soooo frustrating. On NYD this year, my husband left me and my kids without warning. I stopped eating. Basically for about a month, I didn't eat. Not through intentionally "starving" myself, but I just wasn't hungry. I ate small (1/2 cup max) portions of healthy food if I was hungry, but that wasn't very often. The weight literally fell off in buckets. Now, I eat, but my portion sizes are smaller that they were before, and my food is all healthy. My kids and I had bought fish and chips (a popular takeaway in NZ) for the first time in 6 months, about 2 weeks ago. We don't have snack foods in the house (but we do have fruit and veges) and we don't eat takeaways/junk food. For the first time in 12 years, I am under 70kg/154lbs. In fact, I now weigh 68 kg, which is under 150 lbs. I am 5 kg/11 lb away from being the weight I was before I was pregnant with my first child 12 years ago. I haven't been this weight since I was pregnant with her. Sometimes, the body needs to really have a huge kick up the bum to get it to work properly *metabolism/weight loss wise*.

Tell her I am so proud of her. I lost almost 200 pounds this past year so I know it is hard work and commitment.

WOW! I looked at the "after" photos in the adorable CE ware and thought to myslef how familar looking that model was... LOL. Emily you look FAB-U-LOUS!
