so i have some BREAKING NEWS on the "Club Heidi" front...
apparently the kits were shipped via the wrong carrier by accident and as a result didn't make it to scrapbook.com in time for this mornings open registration! Scrapbook.com has a (very smart) policy, that they will not accept any orders for anything that has not been received and inspected to ensure the merchandise is complete and not damaged in anyway... i guess the kits not only went the wrong carrier, but also the wrong time-frame... they are not even scheduled to get to Scrapbook.com until monday of next week... (seriously...)
Sooooooooooo...long story, short... we are not opening registration until next TUESDAY, when we can be sure that they have all arrived safely and can be immediately sent out when orders are placed....
we ALL offer very sincere apologies... such a bummer! i will keep you all posted as further information becomes available! (wink)... so sorry!!!!!!

I have been waiting by the comuter all day long, we are 6 hours ahed here in Sweden. ANd typical we are on holliday on tuseday:-( I hope ther will be one left fore me on wensday.

SUGGESTION: Your staff should have found a way to notify everyone by email - (those who subscribed last time - Creative Escape email newsletter list or whatever). It is wonderful how popular your products have become, but please remember those who have to make special arrangements to be able to order your kits. This was a staff BUMMER! Hopefully, things will run smoother next week and next time.

I just wanted to make a note regarding Caroline's post. Scrapbook.com did not have the mix up. Advantus (the parent company of Heidi Swapp) made an error on the shipment that was to arrive to us.
We have been awaiting the shipment from Advantus since July 17th . . .

This is such an amazing kit that it is totally worth the wait! I think it is a great compliment to Scrapbook.com that they would wait until they have the product before selling it. They are a great company!
Thanks for working so hard and creating these amazing kits!

I forgot again, I am just crazy and forget things like this! I am actually glad for a reprieve, maybe I can set reminders. We usually have swim lessons during that time so its hard.

Amazing to me how no matter WHAT happens (sold out, delayed, etc) there's always that handful (or one or two) that has to complain about how "it's not fair." WHAT? Seriously people, it's just product. Yes, GREAT product, but some of the attitudes around here act as though this is their last opportunity for food or water for the next year....it's a hobby--yes, a fun and addicting one....but why harrass poor Heidi or the companies w/ such comments? What do you think you will accomplish? These are HUGE companies--they'll make mistakes...but they are the muti-million dollar companies who have great leaders helping to make decisions like this (not to sell until they receive) and who are YOU to tell them what they should and shouldn't do? I'm just glad to know that the people in my life are full of a lot more grace than these so called product fans.....maybe, just maybe, you're a cheap deal fan and not necessarily a product fan? Hmmmmm.....I don't often respond to such things, but after last month's posts of people telling HS how she should do things differently (sell later, sell earlier, sell more, sell at higher costs, etc) and then this....give her and her companies a break.....or go shop someplace else!

Drat! I'll be working at summer camp next week - out of touch with the world.

sigh... I am EST so I was ready to go early, checking the site. Aw-well... I'll continue to check in. Can't wait!

Who pissed in Jessi's oatmeal??? Last I checked we were ALL free to express our feelings (just like she expressed hers). Heidi apologized in her blog entry and MOST, if not all, accept that apology understandably. We understand things happen. But this blog is open to comments, meaning there will be good & bad moments.

It's all good! Things happen with any company. Thanks Heidi for, as always, keeping us in the loop. Now I have something to look forward to again! YoU RoCk!

Agree with Jesse!
It is not HS fault- and if you are SOOOOO inconvienced as to want to snap at her on her personal blog, and trash talk- you are better off shopping elseware for your goods and not dirty the HS comments with your negitivity.
I am sure you and your job do not always run flawlessly either- be sure to remove the plank from your own eye before you attack the splinter in HS's and her companany.

WELL SAID-Jessi and Lauren.

Hey things happen...I just so appreciate the offer of such a GREAT value we are getting here!
WOW...I am surprised at some of the negative comments. But hey if you don't like it that just means more for me and my friends! :)
Thanks Heidi

LOL! P---ed in my what? I don't think someone's personal blog should be a place for negativity-I agree w/ "freedom of speech" but I also believe in blog etiquecy (and no, not sure how to spell that...gonna hold that one against me?) and if this is someone's blog and not a forum board, show some respect. But, I guess some people are classier than others. With that, I'm bowing out-just trying to be encouraging to an incredibly talented woman who has a very full plate right now...on her PERSONAL blog that I think we're all so blessed to be allowed to peak into whenever we want! HS-you're inspiring!

Hey - I wanted to apologize to Caroline here. I did not mean to call her out in my post . . . Her reading of the post was reasonable. I was too hasty in my response.
Heidi has been amazing trying to work through the issues and get the kits here . . . and I know that Advantus is working very hard to make sure that the error doesn't happen again.
The kit club is still very new and bugs are being worked out.
