Slowly, my studio is getting pieced back together.. there are still a bunch of boxes that I have only glanced through and pulled out the most necessary contents… but there is still SO much sorting, organizing and setting up left to do! it’s a process; a creative process. Despite the crazy, disorganized jumble it seems to be, it’s so great to be back in my space. I have tons of room for what I need, and I love my 42” tall island, and my wall-sized dry erase calendar from Pottery Barn, and all my magnet boards and shelves. i have been on a creative kick, and it’s feels so good.. just thought I’d share a few of the items… I am just trying to get myself thinking and creating again…getting reacquainted with some of the stuff I had left behind. My focus has been on Quincy as she has turned 8, and we got some great photos of her baptism… I want her to remember that special day always. ( and she SOO appreciates the attention!) smile. So I made her this little card.
This layout is just one that I had on hand because I had created it when I was demo-ing the invisibles while I was in Houston:
I used the Heart Mega-Mask and positioned it over the borders invisible sheet… inked the inside of the heart. Then I used the chipboard invisible frames, inked that to match… and I LOVE the little polka-dot letter stickers… inked those as well! I used my favorite letter stamps to stamp “love”… can you see the ‘just chillin’ MM paper, and the hambly frame overlay on this page as well… I am not sure who makes that yellow gingham paper.. but I LOVE it! (so into yellow right now). They eyelet paper is actually a notecard from the Martha Stewart line.
I missed my ‘crackle’ stamp while I was away! You can find the ‘she’ cards here, and the tab in the upper right corner is from here. and I just had to add this and the border from this paper....
i have more in the works... can't wait to share!

Beautiful Baptism book!! Welcome home!

Love the keepsake card Heidi:)
My craftroom is a giant mess! It used to be my husband's office and I have since taken the space over for my scrapbook pleasures...LOL Much like the shoe racks, the closets, and the dressers;)
Please take a photo of your studio. I love to see your creative space.

Heidi: your layout using the invisible products is really nice and now I have inspiration to create a page using these products for the LSS I work for. Can you tell me how you got the variegated green color from the distress ink? Love your stuff!!

Hi Heidi: Is it possible to post pictures of your studio? I recently purchased a house and one of the rooms will become my office/craft room. I've been searching the internet for pictures of other rooms for inspiration and I'd love to see where you create.
Thanks,
Ami

love when you post your beautiful scrap pages! a couple of questions, what stamp or rub on did you use for the "Q" in the daughter layout, and where can i find the crackle stamp?? is that what is used on the back round (with the blue showing thru)? i have been in such a rut, and i keep buying stuff (that i really don't need!) thinking it will get the juices flowing...but alas! nothing!!! btw, my son is named quincy and i just love the name for a girl! my daughter is named ryan, so i do like to be very gender bending on the names as well!!

My craft room is a disaster! It's actually a huge walk-in closet and I was just about to undertake a huge re-org project when the light went out!!

Love the card you created. Your layouts and projects always provide inspiration. I wish my brain was wired more like yours. The pink/orange paper on the front of the card is beautiful. Who is the paper from or did you make it yourself with inks and invisibles paper?
