ok, i LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! i am making some this weekend! i think it's a PERFECT teacher gift!!
all this is, is a chipboard backer with the calendar bound to the top...but how perfect it is for a photo-this could be a wall hanging or you could steal the back of a cheap picture frame and prop it up...i hink it's brilliant!! and the postcard calendars are perfect!!.. of course you can dangle anything from the edge, and use ANY background papers to design. This was Teresa's cute daughter's wedding announcement- how cute with that collage!!? I LOVE it..
ok, Teresa dressed this Mirror album up with stamping and jewels and that fab crown that she is telling us to 'hold out for'... hint hint!! if you didn't get the kit.. you can find those gorgeous bells at Michael's.
and i say... tis' the season for calendars and planners...this cute planner book is a cinch to make and you can see more of the inside on T's blog if you scroll down a bit! she has them on Facebook too...so be sure to add her as a friend! she is the best.
didn't i say that i was checking out for 24 hours?? well, i am happily enjoying some PEACE and quiet...
ok, so those of you who rec'd the Nourish the Children kit that Teresa and I put together, and maybe you saw our LIVE webcast!! ok, so here are my photographic step by steps of the 3 projects that i shared here on my blog as well as on the webcast!
many of you have asked about the products that were in the kit and where you can find them:
so, it's Dec...what...17? and i haven't even started thinking about our christmas card. that is contributing to the stress- so as i have been sitting here watching some late night TV, i started thinking about what to do- we have been receiving cards and email greetings from friends all over, and i LOVE that part of the season! so i have been trying to decide if i want to have a new photo taken, use existing photos... or do something in actual PRINT or something cool and virtual!? i have a few ideas flowing... so i have pulled out some of the photos that we have snapped through this last year... and what a year it's been!
soo.....thinking that we need a new photo. wish us luck.
ok, tonight teresa and i got together and did a one hour LIVE webcast!! it was so awesome! we had a BLAST!! Teresa is so much fun to hang out with, and the projects that she created were so awesome! i loved being inspired by her! so... this was the first time i ever have done anything like this, and i am just a little bit technologically challenged! and so the SAD NEWS is that somehow we didn't get it to record. there is a RECORD NOW button right there, and i know that we clicked it a couple of times, but it didn't work! GRRR... such a bummer, because we really did have a great time! anyway... we will both be posting our projects, as well as links to the stuff that we used, and showed! we had so much fun, that we hope to do it again! and we even PUBLICLY invited Melodee Ross to come to SLC and play along with us!! so we'll see if she'll come too!
again...thanks to all of the support and response we got around this unique kit! there is discussion of doing another one in the future... so if you have emailed, we kept your name on a list, and we'll give you first dibs!
i came home SO EXCITED about the possibilities using this FREE technology! i mean... how cooL!
ok, so we have some new MUST SEE TV for you tonight!!!
i am heading over to Teresa Collins' tonight and we are broadcasting LIVE on the web!! ok, now i have never done this before... so i am kinda freaked out... but watch here... watch Facebook and Twitter and we will be posting the LInk! the link will be up around 6:30pm...and we'll be teaching until 7:30 or so!! so just plan on jumping on and joining us! we are going to be sharing like 6 fun projects that use the stuff that was found in the Nourish the Children kits!! these are just a couple of MINE... and T's are sooo cute!! so try to join us tonight, and if you can't...we'll record it and you can watch it at your convenience!!
