It’s the middle of MAY!! Yikes… I was delighted as it was 84 degrees here in SLC, and this week kicked off on the heels of a beautiful Sunday! Last week ended w/ the annual Creative Escape preview day! I flew down on Thursday and had the opportunity to teach one of my “Mistified” Glimmer Mist class… I think I could teach that class in my sleep at this point! it was a treat to be back at Scrapbooks, ETC and hanging out w/ so many of my friends! Without a moment to loose, we finished up preparations for Friday and Saturday of all day classes. All the teachers, staff and volunteers associated w/ Creative Escape all come together for the weekend and we get to take all the classes- do a run through! Which means we have to gather all the supplies, do all the homework and be ready to learn and be inspired. And I think that INSPIRED is the word!! I left Saturday evening feeling lighter than air! i just LOVED hearing what these women had to share.
I left feeling like I wanted to be a better everything- and that is what CE is all about. It was awesome. Man, I feel blessed to be involved- and thankful for all those who are contributing in all the many necessary ways!
As I was coming home, with Mistified and Preview Day behind me, I felt this huge percentage of my brain freed up!! whew! I LOVE that when you can move forward, ready to take on the next big thing-- and there is PLENTY of big things on the horizon! (or bearing down!)...
