i am having myself a total 'late nighter', which is an absolute indulgence for me, as i know that i will be so tired tomorrow... but we have 11 o'clock church, so i can hope for a little sleep in! i have been in need of some personal creative time- just scrapbooking for no reason. just for me. i don't do that enough. but i have been so in love wiht the newest collection at House of 3 "Waiting for Spring", so i printed all the papers in the kit twice, and had a play! i will photograph the pages i made when i have a little better light, but i thought i'd share some really high-quality, middle-of-the-night phone pics of my creations. i have a little stack of photos that i want to scrapbook...so i have been whittling them down a bit.
tonight i worked with everything from professional photos to photos taken w/ my phone...and some not-my-best-photographical-skills photos... but they all have a story that i wanted to remember. let's see, tonight i created 2 double page layouts, and 3 single page 8x11 pages. as you know, deep down, i am a 8x11 scrapbooker-i love the versitility of these papers, as well as how well they GO with anything!
the bottom photo is one that took of Capri on her 4th bday, and so the "Soiree" line of goods is just perfect- but looks SO cute w/ that 'waiting for spring' paper- i also used the new Soiree tissue paper, and dimensional stickers on this page. -
above that, i used the grey verson of the same paper in Pink-layered with the yellow dot paper from the Soiree line as well, but then i mixed in some Daily Junque epherma/elements stuff...as well as some of the paper from THIS collection
anyway... i will take better photos of these pages, and repost them. nothing like a good hybrid scrapbooking night to make you happy!
