i think one of the things I love MOST about CE is all the things that I have to ‘remember’ CE! Whether it’s the little gifts people give me, or stuff I make, or the swag everyone loves to get and collect…it all adds so much to the whole thing! I have been needing to clean everything up, and put it away, and as I have been organizing and working on my own memory book, I took a few photos to include in my own ‘history’ of CE.
here are most of this year's buttons. i have collected all the buttons from every year, and i love them, and all the memories they hold. each year they really reflect the theme, and personality of that particular year.
i came home w/ a stash of wintergreen mints thanks to my sweet friend and counsel Leslie. i needed this photo in my CE memories! anyone who has taught or even volunteered at CE knows what this is all about!
at CE the more SPARKLY the better... from the Scissors to the watches...
and even the CUPS! check out this adorable cup holder the one and only Margie Romney-Aslett made for me! i love it... all the layers of glitter !
every year i have been given an amazing gift by all the individuals that participated in the 'charm swap'... this year, it was a little different because they gave them to me so i coudl see who made each one. these little mini-creations are amazing! so cooL! i loved opening them all up and studying each one! all so unique..
a couple weeks before the event, i was telling my good friend Liz Eaton about my 'speech' that i would be giving on Saturday night, as well as some of the things i was working on for the event... and she made me this amazing necklace to remind me of this year's event... i love Liz's jewellry-i have quite a collection! and all of it holds so much meaning to me.
some jewelry is just for fuN! and you buy it for a certain outfit, or an event... i am a huge lover of buying cheap, flashy jewelry at Forever 21! and then there is that jewerly that reminds. allows you to hold a little piece of that memory always! Liz sold some of her pieces at CE:
this last one is my favorite. i love it... she said i could give one away here on my blog... so if you want to check out Liz's Etsy shop you can go here...
and if you want to WIN this gorgeous necklace... leave a comment right here on my blog about what is 'worth it' today...

Hi Heidi and thanks for the fun necklace give-away!
The emotional stress of taking care of my precious, aging dogs is so "worth it" considering the many years of fun, love, and friendship they've blessed me with!

Every moment is "worth it". The big the small the sad the happy. And each one only comes around once in this lifetime. Celebrate them all.

TODAY is worth it. You just never realize how valuable each day is until you face the harsh reality that you may not have another day after this one.
TODAY, I looked down at a white piece of paper that had these words written on it: "Pelvic ultrasound. Reason for exam: pelvic pain, R/O mass." Rule out mass. Not such a good word really. I guess it's a good thing to rule it out. As I laid on the stretcher, listening to the ultrasonographer take picture after picture, I wondered what tomorrow will look like if today ends on a less-than-happy note. But you know what? I'm still in TODAY.
So I will make TODAY completely worth it. And then tomorrow, no matter what it looks like, I will make that TODAY worth it too.

it's "worth it" staying up all night working as a registered nurse so that i can be home with my two kiddos during the day. Sometimes i am soooo freakin' tired i can't stand it... but it's still worth it!

Life, friends, family. But on a more transient note, just spent $300 on an 18 course meal at the #1 restaurant in the US (Alinea). SOOO worth it!

this quiet rainy day is worth it. Just to sit and read a book and spend time with my family.

What is worth it....spending a rainy day (our first rain in many months here in our part of Texas) relaxing at home with my husband and kids, reading, playing games, cooking, baking and eating. Taking a break from the rest of the world to make our family the priority!

When I see our personal debt level decreasing, I think work is worth it.
