I have been the lamest blogger- but holy moly, I have been busy and haven’t even taken a moment to breathe!! It’s been a good kind of busy- the kind that you really GET STUFF DONE! I have been super productive, and it feels great. Seems like I have so many different things going right now, and I have ACTUALLY been quite organized! Which is SO rare!
We celebrated Cory’s 11th Birthday with a big Rugby Match.
i created some waterbottles for the athletes... and Capri and Connor (the cheerleaders!)
and made some fun t-shirts for each of the boys to take home. i whipped these up using my Yudu machine! they turned out awesome, and the boys just LOVED them!!
course, i was making them at like midnight the night before!
the Yudu is perfect when you have LOTS to screen! this is the back:
and these are ALWAYS a party favorite:
i made my favorite choc. chip cookies and sandwiched them with icecream! YUM!
I have had lots of creative time in my studio! And many more projects to go this week! I have been using my “Simply Amazing” book to keep myself on track! I have even been documenting my accomplishments-
i created this book documenting my recent trip to Italy... i used Tattered Angels chip tiles to create the cover.. i'll be showing off a fun technique using these chip tiles and some cool techniques to put some of my new Tattered Angels product to unexpected uses on this weeks' webshow- Wednesday night... 7pm Mountain time!
The weather has been SO beautiful here… so we have been at the park near our home like every day! even working in a picnic! a picnic makes an ordinary day special! don't you think?
(anytime you sit down on a blanket and eat anything qualifies as a picnic in my book!) the great weather even got us out in the yard mowing the lawn for the first time of the season and putting away all the winter stuff, and pulling out the bikes, scooters and roller blades! We cleaned out the garage, and what I realized is that I have SO MUCH scrapbook stuff in my garage… I need to do some purging! … so here is my plan: I am going to give stuff away every day on my blog next week. much of it is QUITE "vintage"… but I have extra kits, and boxes of product… so check back every day for your chance to get a little SURPRISE from me in your mail box!
It’s going to be an awesomely crazy week as Eric graduates and I leave for my trip to Fiji to see my folks and then onto Australia! Woot!ok, getting a good night's sleep off: WELCOME MONDAY! bring it on!
Heidi....love the Tattered Angel book you made.....those covers are AWESOME....can't wait to watch on Wednesday.....
