It’s like ten at night, and i am just sitting down for the first time! well, aside from hours of meetings! Seems like it was just a whirl wind! But in a good way! I am really excited about a couple new opportunities! But it also means that I need to get my butt in gear! My kids don’t get out next week, but they are DEFINITELY ready to be done! The weather hasn’t really turned warm, so it doesn’t feel like summer! I wonder when that will happen- although the days are getting longer, and sun is setting later...
Tonight Cory was awarded his “Arrow of Light” which is a Cub Scout award. He worked really hard to get everything pulled together now that he is officially 11, and graduated to Boy Scouts. A total decked out mountain man came to present the award, and explain the significance of the arrow- he told cory to hang it on the NORTH wall of his room, where the arrow would always point to the east and remind him that every day is a new day! Cory had all the laws and mottos etc etc memorized… it was so cute! I am proud of him!
I have straightened up the house, I can hear the hum of the dishwasher- and this is my time to really focus! I need to get so many things out of head and onto paper-

OOoh, how lovely are these! What I look forward to most about summer is having the kids at home, no driving and going on vacation. Not sure we will be going away this year, but my daughter and I have tons of plans for crafting together, yay! Still another month of school left though, and its SO HOT!

Getting ready for a 3 day road trip to the good old midwest. As I work for an airline haven't traveled this far by car in over 22 years. Just me and my hubby, on our own, not kids, no pets just the two of us. Lots of quality time together. So exicted.

What a fantastic giveaway by Scarlet Lime. The best thing about summer is family time by the pool, bbq's with friends and sun, sand and surf. Also congrats Corey on your award. Well done.
