i think one of the things I love MOST about CE is all the things that I have to ‘remember’ CE! Whether it’s the little gifts people give me, or stuff I make, or the swag everyone loves to get and collect…it all adds so much to the whole thing! I have been needing to clean everything up, and put it away, and as I have been organizing and working on my own memory book, I took a few photos to include in my own ‘history’ of CE.
here are most of this year's buttons. i have collected all the buttons from every year, and i love them, and all the memories they hold. each year they really reflect the theme, and personality of that particular year.
i came home w/ a stash of wintergreen mints thanks to my sweet friend and counsel Leslie. i needed this photo in my CE memories! anyone who has taught or even volunteered at CE knows what this is all about!
at CE the more SPARKLY the better... from the Scissors to the watches...
and even the CUPS! check out this adorable cup holder the one and only Margie Romney-Aslett made for me! i love it... all the layers of glitter !
every year i have been given an amazing gift by all the individuals that participated in the 'charm swap'... this year, it was a little different because they gave them to me so i coudl see who made each one. these little mini-creations are amazing! so cooL! i loved opening them all up and studying each one! all so unique..
a couple weeks before the event, i was telling my good friend Liz Eaton about my 'speech' that i would be giving on Saturday night, as well as some of the things i was working on for the event... and she made me this amazing necklace to remind me of this year's event... i love Liz's jewellry-i have quite a collection! and all of it holds so much meaning to me.
some jewelry is just for fuN! and you buy it for a certain outfit, or an event... i am a huge lover of buying cheap, flashy jewelry at Forever 21! and then there is that jewerly that reminds. allows you to hold a little piece of that memory always! Liz sold some of her pieces at CE:
this last one is my favorite. i love it... she said i could give one away here on my blog... so if you want to check out Liz's Etsy shop you can go here...
and if you want to WIN this gorgeous necklace... leave a comment right here on my blog about what is 'worth it' today...
Would love to win this sweet necklace! Off to check out her shop! thanks for the giveaway! xo. Bree

When I saw your question "what's worth it?" I immediately thought "me!, I'm worth it! I'm worth the time to take care of myself, document my journey, and show myself love". This necklace is awesome!
Went to CE this year (it was my first) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excited to see what you come up with next. ;)

Picking up the kids at the high school is such a nightmare here as there is only one way in and one way out. My kiddos board to school so I don't fight the traffic.... When the oldest called to say he needed his baseball glove to begin training today, I said yes, but in the back of my mind was regretting it. Long story short, it was so worth seeing the smile on my son's face that I was there with mitt in hand ;)Happy about the little things that make my kids happy and know that I love them!

I would love to win this necklace for my daughter, she is working really hard at University to become a teacher as well as spending all her spare time working with her boyfriend in a business he is trying to build up. So we are always saying to each other it will be "worth it" in the long run. :) Thanks for the chance.

I teach in a juvenile hall and alot of times kids don't really care about things. Today one of the boys offered to share his lunch with me - probably as a thank you for a mini-book project we're working on (I sewed one of the CE flowers because we can't have needles)...sharing lunch is a big deal because their food is measured out so everyone gets an equal portion and there aren't any seconds. Worth it.

What is "worth it"? Every ounce of energy spent on my kids and husband - even when I think I'm all tapped out. Time goes by too quickly to be skimpy on the moments.

Having children is worth it every day, even though sometimes they make you want to tear your hair out. I have learned this last year to hold every moment close as they are only with you for a short time.

When I saw this necklace I immediately thought of my sister and brother-in-law. After a series of struggles (deaths in the family and infertility) they decided to sell most of their possessions and travel the world, volunteering and travel blogging. Money and the corporate life weren't worth it.
After a year in South America, they decided to get tattoos as inspiration for themselves. It is Vala La Pena - Spanish for "Worth It".
She is a perfect match for this necklace.
